I was just on Patty Huntington’s Frockwriter blog and saw that Abbey Lee, (pictured above on the cover of the new V Magazine), my favourite Australian model, (and #21 on the models.com top 50 list), ate some serious catwalk dirt in the Rodarte show yesterday. The impossibly high shoes and slick catwalk combo were all too much for the nose-pierced blonde, who fell straight on her heine in front of an audience that included Natalie Portman and Anna Wintour.
Sadly the model walking right behind her didn’t stop to help, so a front row member of the audience had to help her to her feet. Check out the video here.
Abbey Lee won the Girlfriend Magazine’s Model Search four years ago before coming over to New Zealand for Fashion Week 06/07 and partying up a storm – and I KNEW this next photo would come in handy someday. Here is me and Abbey Lee dancing on stage after the Fashion Week wrap party.
