Over 50,000 people took to the streets today in Paris to protest Israel's continued attacks on the Gaza Strip. I was on my way to Etienne Marcel to peruse a few vintage stores when I got the call to rush over to Republique to check out the scene. I'd never seen anything like it. The streets were seething with demonstrators marching in groups of a thousand or more with banners, Palestinian flags and posters, chanting "Nous sommes tous des Palestiniens" (We are all Palestinians), "Israel Assassin" and "Allahu Akbar" (God is Great).
Armed with my camera I took the opportunity to get amongst the action. Click below for my photos of the march.
