What could be the most exciting and tiring four days of my life to date will begin tomorrow with the Hugo Boss show at 10:30am. The jumbled assortment of invitations I've received so far include (but are not limited to) Hugo Boss, Number (N)ine, Yojhi Yamamoto, Jean Paul Gaultier, Henrik Vibskov, Miharayasuhiro, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester, Thierry Mugler and Louis Vuitton.
I arrived back from London late last night to discover a rather large pile of envelopes on the bed in our Paris apartment. All traces of tiredness and hunger were wiped away and I was overcome with a serious case of kid-on-Christmas-morning-syndrome. I was delighted to find that I'd received invites to eight of 10 of the first day's shows, but not much else. But this morning our friendly neighbourhood postie came in with another even bigger pile of envelopes, the fruits of which can be viewed above.
No sign of Lanvin yet, but I'm not giving up hope!
