I arrived back from Paris on Friday but it took me until today to unpack and go through all my things. I was emptying the pockets of a pair of pants to put them in the wash when I came across a receipt from Angelina. No trip to Paris is complete without a visit to the iconic cafe Angelina. Situated on Rue de Rivoli and famous for its real hot chocolate (Le Africain), Angelina opened in 1903 and was a regular hangout for leading ladies like Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel. Now, however, it seems filled to the brim with tourists like me alongside tables and tables of ladies who lunch.
Jordan and I went along on my final day in Paris, a bittersweet goodbye treat (click for pics).
