Day one of New York Fashion Week has come to a close, with a couple of New Zealanders making an appearance. And who'd've thought it, the boys are doing better than the girls (but it's still early days). Michael Whittaker of Clyne (above) featured as boy #2 out the door at New York based label Shipley&Halmos's show. A few hours earlier he'd shown up on the Duckie Brown runway (below), thankfully, one of the 17 of 24 boys not wearing a balaclava.

And, as previously reported by NZ blog Chowder, our own Georgia Fowler turned up as girl number 12 of 20 at the Christian Cota presentation, and dare I say, looking a damn sight skinnier than the rest of the girls in the show.
No sign of Stella Maxwell or Mauro Almeida as of yet, but I'll be watching out.
