#319 FOBs at Parnell College??

I woke up today with a plan and a dilemma. Two dilemmas actually. The plan: make it to the Fall Out Boy press conference at Parnell College at 1:30pm. Dilemmas: no camera and a meeting at 1pm.

What was I to do?

After a 12 o'clock lunch with my best good friend Sheida, I made it to Jordan's house to pick up her camera at 1pm. Right when my meeting was supposed to start. Battling traffic, the speed limit and a serious lack of parking spaces, I finally made it into my meeting at 1:10. The location had changed. We walked across the road to our new destination.

1:15pm. The meeting started.

1:30pm I received a hurry up text from my cousin Nikau - head prefect of Parnell College (pictured above with FOB).

1:35pm Another quick venue switch, this time within the building.

By this point I'd given up hope of making it to the press conference, but it didn't matter anyway, because the meeting became one of those ones you only see in American movies. Exciting and inspirational, the type that make you want to grab life by the balls and give it a go.

2pm I ran out of the meeting, energised and feeling all sorts of excited American-moviesh emotions.

2:15 I finally made it to Parnell College, just in case. I ran in the main building, having quite a lot of trouble with the glass doors out front. The security guard informed me that the press conference was well and truly over and showed me to the door.

I have no idea what went on at the press conference, but the photo above is evidence that it happened. So behold my lovely cousin Nikau with Fall Out Boy. She's about 5"7, which makes the average height of the band memebers somewhere around 5"5.
