I work one day a week at Ponsonby's Tessuti - the prettiest and best smelling shop in Auckland. It's a home ware/gift store that sells everything a girl (or Isaac) could wish for. Almost everything in store is imported from Europe and I'm constantly surrounded by the most beautiful things. I love working here.

Tessuti is the only place in New Zealand that you can buy Missoni homeware from. I would love to have my bathroom fitted out with their intensely patterned towels or to own one of the beautiful throws for my bed.

The owners of Tessuti brought L'Occitane, the famous French beauty products brand, into New Zealand. My favourite range is the honey range, but there's also the almond, verbena, lavender, milk and olive ranges. It is the best stuff.

Nothing beats a Diptyque candle. They are the best looking, best smelling and longest lasting candles you can buy. Forget flowers, candy and jewellery - a Diptyque candle is the perfect gift for girls.

The Chritian Tortu vases are another big attraction for Tessuti. I love this spinning top looking one made out of nickel, which holds a lone flower on its side.
