Happy Easter everybody from sunny Christchurch, I'm going to destroy some chocolate today. Somebody just told me that the reason we celebrate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ with eggs is because the early church appropriated a pagan festival of fertility that already existed on this day (get the bunny reference?) - it's all quite complicated and has something to do with the lunar cycle.
