The next month or so is going to be very busy for our Auckland fashion retailers - we've got Zambesi and Fabric moving in next to each other on Teed Street in Newmarket, and just this Saturday Karen Walker will officially open doors on her new Ponsonby Road store. I haven't seen any photos at all of the store so I can't tell you what it looks like, but as far as I'm aware it's in the old Isakelle space opposite Hepburn, and I do know that my old mate Jordan Rondel will be one of the store's lovely employees.

Great! I'm glad we're getting a Karen Walker closer to home, hope the employees are lovely like the ones in Newmarket, not like the ones in high St, who are seriously far too important to do things like help customers

to be honest, i go to the city store because of the staff. You should drive past the Ponsonby store and have a look. the art painted on the interior of the other stores has been done on the outside of the shop, it looks stunning.
oconnell st is where its at. sounds lame but i go in just to chat with the staff..haha..
