Photo: Sonny VandeveldeI didn't get a chance to say goodbye to Sonny Vandevelde after the last show in Paris, so I just emailed him to say au revoir (I'm heading to the airport in an hour). He replied immediately with a photograph. No words, just a picture. It's me writing backstage at Paul Smith - my final show of Paris menswear. Best photo ever. If you've ever wondered how I work, this picture pretty much sums it up. I'll find myself a seat somewhere and sit and watch the chaos around me, and write what I see. Just like that.
