#1445 Model Perspective – New York Fashion Week as seen through the eyes of a model

Marc Jacobs Casting.

For reasons many and varied, I'm not in New York right now for Fashion Week, but despite my absence, I will endeavour to cover it all as best I can. Enter a model-done-good – it's his first time in NYC, his second fashion week ever, and for the next week and a bit, he has agreed to be my man on the ground, covering the shows, the parties and the experience as seen through the eyes of a model. He writes, "Have been in NYC for a month now, life here consists of waking up, going to castings around the city, chilling in central park at lunch, more castings then whatever we can find to do in Manhattan at night (which is everything you can imagine). There are boys from every country in the model apartment, from Sweden and Germany, to Denmark, Canada, Russia and Texas. Fashion Week in a few days, time for some fun!!"

Check out his photos from the castings, inside the model apartment and on set below, with daily updates to come.

Last pic - is that bunk bed sitting precariously on top of another? He's lucky he wasn't squished!
