Photos: wwdDay one of New York Fashion Week has wrapped (day two has just begun), and by my observations, only one Kiwi has thus far made any type of appearance in the photographic round-ups: Paris-based, ex-Dunedinite Stella Maxwell, at the Trina Turk presentation. According to the Los Angeles Times,
"L.A.-based designer Trina Turk's spring presentation was a sunny piece of SoCal moved to New York. Turk brought all the trappings of home with her to breathe life into her collection, including '70s-era fiber art wall hangings, Herb Alpert LPs and funky print floor pillows tailor-made for a key party, creating vignettes for her models."Maxwell, like all the models, had just one outfit – a dusty pink top accessorised with prominent shells, metal or other such decoration; thigh-skimming grey shorts and flat-soled, high-heeled wooden clogs. Quite the ideal outfit to play a spot of backgammon in, as illustrated in the photograph below. But the question begs to be asked: Where on earth is the fondue?

I LIKE YOU!
